Listos.app is envisioned, architected, and built by Alexis Román Martínez, based in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Alexis combines deep expertise in People Operations and Human Resources with practical software engineering to eliminate operational bottlenecks.

Professional Background & Academic Credentials

Alexis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Administration from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. He currently serves as Engagement Lead at TransCita, spearheading corporate initiatives focused on employee retention, recognition programs, workplace wellness, and workforce analytics.

His background includes key operational and compliance roles such as Human Resources Recruiter (managing full-cycle recruitment and ensuring strict adherence to federal and state labor regulations including ADA, I-9, and local employment reform) and Operations Director (successfully leading campus operations and securing institutional accreditations with the Puerto Rico Board of Education, ACEN, and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education - MSCHE).

Cabuya Creativa & Impact Initiatives

Alongside his People Operations leadership, Alexis directs Cabuya Creativa (cabuyacreativa.com ↗), a digital product studio and AI lab that builds lean web platforms, workflow automations, and privacy-first utilities.

Key projects include:

  • BuenTurno Portal ↗: An employment and career advancement portal for Puerto Rico featuring a free, ATS-friendly resume builder and compliance tools.
  • BuenTurno App ↗: An employee rewards and engagement platform connecting local employers with community business perks and gamified micro-trainings.
  • Civic Technology Projects: Community initiatives such as Tira El Pin (real-time citizen reporting of municipal utility outages and infrastructure issues across Puerto Rico) and interactive geographical projections.
